South Africans Grant Veenstra and Andrew Georgiou will join Brazil’s Adilson da Silva at the Open Championship 15-22 July at Royal Lytham & St Annes after heading the field at International Final Qualifying in South Africa Thursday.

Veenstra, 28, the medalist at the 36-hole event at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club, booked his place with a final-round 67 and a 6-under-par total of 138. Georgiou and Da Silva finished a shot back at 5-under 139. Georgiou, who played the back nine in 4-under 32, posted 71-68 and Da Silva 68-71, which included a double-bogey on the 16th hole.

Six players, including Canadian Andrew Parr, finished a shot out of a playoff at 4-under 140.
