Pedro Figueiredo has found a home among the best players in the World
Amateur Golf Ranking. Since last year, Figueiredo has used high finishes like
a T17 at the Brabazon Trophy and T22 at the Pac- 10 Championship to cement
his spot at No. 51 in the world. Also in 2011, Figueiredo wowed on the
European Tour when he finished T23 in the Portugal Masters, besting top
pros such as Francesco Molinari, Robert Rock, and even his favorite
golfer – Miguel Ángel Jiménez. Pedro isn’t a slouch in the class-
room either, where he earned first team All-Pac- 10 Academic
honors last year and is a two-time member of the Director’s
Honor Roll at UCLA with a 3. 5 grade point average.
